At this moment, we don't offer a specific app that you can use to play music in your Sonos system. You can, however, use Airplay 2 if your Sonos device supports it, read more about it here. If your Sonos device does not support AirPlay 2, you can connect your Soundtrack Business device through the line-input to your Sonos speakers using an audio cable. Here's a list with your different options with Line- input:
- PLAY:5 (gen2)
- PLAY:5 (gen1)
Follow these instructions to get started:
1. Check that your Sonos unit has a line-input. If your unit doesn't have a line-input, you can bridge the unit to another Sonos unit that does.
2. Connect the audio cable (3.5 mm) that came with your speaker to the headphone jack on your Soundtrack Business player and put the other end into the line-input on the back of your Sonos unit.
3. Switch audio source to line-in on your Sonos controller. Open the Music Menu, select Line-In, Source and click Play now.
If you want to play different music in your venue you need to create a location for each area of your venue in Soundtrack Business. Each location needs to be connected to a unique device which you connect to a Sonos unit.
