The explicit filter offered in Soundtrack prevents songs from playing that are marked as explicit by the record labels. Additionally, we screen all songs in our soundtracks and playlists, and further mark any songs that have sensitive lyrics/subjects.
Simply enable the explicit filter via the account settings if you want to avoid playing music with sensitive lyrics. You will still be able to play any of our soundtracks and playlists (even the ones tagged as "explicit"), but all songs marked as explicit will be blocked.
- Log in to business.soundtrackyourbrand.com with your email address and password.
- Click on "Settings."
- Scroll down to "Explicit settings" and enable the feature. Please note that enabling this feature will exclude explicit songs on all players of the company.
If you're importing your Spotify playlists into Soundtrack Business, we always recommend reviewing the content before playing in your location. Occasionally songs with explicit lyrics will not be marked as such in Spotify and the track has not been reviewed by our music team.
What songs are screened as explicit?
Swearing is definitely removed whilst sensitive and questionable lyrics are inherently subject to perception. Therefore we welcome any feedback on specific songs where you find the lyrics to be inappropriate should they come up.
