You can import your Spotify playlists which will be used to create a Soundtrack based on the playlist you imported. This will guarantee there is plenty of content to avoid repetition and you’ll instantly have a new Soundtrack!
The create Soundtrack using a playlist feature imports a playlist (needs to have a minimum 5 songs) and automatically adds up to 300 songs. If there are more than 300 songs in the playlist it won't add more songs. For example, if an imported playlist is 30 songs long, 270 songs will be added. If a playlist is 600 songs, all 600 will be imported if all of the songs are available in our music library.
Frequently asked questions
Why weren't all of the songs included in the import?
When you import a playlist, we compare your tracks to our available catalogue and generate the playlist. In most cases, we’re able to match a majority of the songs, but you might experience some songs are missing. We recommend that you import playlists with a variation of songs and artists for the best experience. With that said, we are continually updating and adding songs to our catalogue on a regular basis to improve match rates.
Will changes I make to the Spotify playlist be updated in Soundtrack Business?
No. Updates made to the playlist in Spotify after you've imported it to Soundtrack Business will only show in Spotify. You can, however, import an updated Spotify playlist to your account and remove the previous version of the playlist.
