In this article we cover how you use, manage and set up the Soundtrack player 3.0.
The player has two LED-lights that will communicate the players status. The left LED-light will tell you if you have an internet connection and the right will show you if the music is playing.
The new Soundtrack player's LED lights make it easier to know the connection status of your device. Below is an overview of what each color indicates about your player's connectivity status.
Trying to connect:
When the player is trying to connect, the left LED light will turn yellow.
When the player is connected, the left LED light will turn green.
Failed to connect:
If the left LED light blinks yellow, the player has failed to connect. Make sure to check that your ethernet cable is plugged in correctly and check your router for internet connection.
- Log in to business.soundtrackyourbrand.com, go to your zone and click on "Hardware Device Soundtrack Player" and enter the device ID found on the bottom of the box.
- Connect the power cable. A light will show up on the front side of the box when it’s on. If your Soundtrack Player has a power button, then hold it for three seconds until you see the blue light turn on.
- Connect the ethernet cable to give the streaming box Internet access, as well as an audio cable (a 3.5 mm, optical or HDMI) between the streaming box and your sound system
- Enjoy the music! Please note that it may take up to 15 minutes from when you've switched on the Soundtrack Player and connected the network cable until the music starts playing.
