You can create your own soundtrack by selecting your unique sound, genre, and energy level. This feature is easy to use and allows you to create a unique, brand-fitting sound in minutes. (If you already have an idea of the type of sound you want, you can also import a Spotify playlist which will be used as a basis for a soundtrack.)
It is important to keep in mind your business type and the general ambiance you want to present to your customers. For example, if you have a rock bar you might select high energy rock and perhaps even a certain decade. If you own a spa, you might avoid selecting a “rugged” or “expressive” sound.
How to create a soundtrack
Use the create tab in the iOS or Android app, or when logged into your account. Fill in the ingredients of your playlist which include the Energy, Genre, Sound and Decade of your sound. In this step, you will also be able to choose if you want to allow explicit content or not.
Once you have selected the ingredients of your sound, click on Save Soundtrack to give it a name and color. After it is saved, it will be stored in your music.
Improve your result when creating a soundtrack
This feature works by including songs in your soundtrack as you select genres, sounds, decades and energies. As soon as you select any of the mentioned categories you start crafting your own soundtrack by removing songs from our global library not included in your selections. This also implies that if you, for example, don’t select any genre, you will get a soundtrack containing all genres. The same logic applies to all categories.
The categories Energy and Sound can be used to broaden the range of soundtracks when used properly. For example selecting both "low" and "very low" Energy level rather than just "low" will ensure more content is shown. This also applies for the "sound" as long as contrasting sounds are not used, such as both "youthful" and "mature."
Genre and Decade are categories used to narrow down your sound, so be sure to keep in mind the energy and sounds you chose in order to make sure there are plenty of options for you. For example, if you choose "low" Energy paired with “techno” Genre, you will not have much to choose from. Keeping in mind which Genres and Decades go with your selected Energy and Sound will ensure you have plenty of soundtracks to choose from.
